Featured Pokémon: Sobble
Shiny Sobble Debut

Sobble, the Water-type starter Pokémon from the Galar region, will be featured during Pokémon GO’s July 2026 Community Day event.
During the event, Shiny Sobble will make its debut in Pokémon GO, with the Shiny rate boosted to approximately 4%, as is standard for Community Day events.
Weather Boost

As a Water-type Pokémon, Sobble receives a Weather Boost during rainy weather conditions, allowing Trainers level 30 and above to encounter it at up to Level 35 in the wild.
Lure Module Spawns
As an additional bonus, Sobble will spawn in large numbers around PokéStops with active Lure Modules from the start of the event until four hours after the event ends.
The Shiny rate from these Lure Module spawns will remain the same as the standard Community Day rate.
Research Encounters and Special Backgrounds
Sobble will also be available as a reward encounter through Field Research and paid Timed Research.
In addition, some Sobble encountered through wild spawns, Lure Modules, Field Research, and Special Research may feature a Special Background.

New Community Day Moves
Inteleon’s New Signature Move: Snipe Shot
Starting with the event, Inteleon will be able to learn the new Water-type Charged Attack Snipe Shot.
As Inteleon’s signature move, Snipe Shot has the following stats:
- GYM, Raid and Max Battle : Power 100, Energy 33, Cooldown 3.5
- Trainer Battle : Power 65, Energy 35 (12.5% chance to increase the user’s Attack by 2 stages)
Exclusive Move: Hydro Cannon

In addition, evolving Drizzile into Inteleon from the start of Community Day until four hours after the event ends will allow Trainers to obtain an Inteleon that knows the exclusive Water-type Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.
Candy XL Farming Tips
Regarding the 2× Candy XL chance bonus, Pokémon around Level 23–25 normally have approximately a 45% chance of awarding Candy XL when caught.
As a result, during this event, Trainers should be able to receive Candy XL virtually every time they catch Sobble at approximately Level 25 or higher, making an excellent opportunity to farm Candy XL efficiently.
