Event Bonus
- Increased Shiny encounter rates for the featured Pokémon appearing from Lure Modules and Incense
- Incense lasts for 2 hours (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)
- Lure Modules last for 1 hour
Featured Pokemon
Pokémon whose Korean names begin with syllables associated with “Han-geul-nal” and “Ga-na-da-ra” will appear from Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense).
Featured Pokémon:
- Han : Gabite (Hahn-Bah-Ee-Teu)
- Gul : Gligar (Gul-Lah-Yi-Guh)
- Nal : Rapidash (Nal-Ssang-Ma)
- Ga : Growlithe, Aron
- Na : Meowth, Swirlix
- Da : Audino, Furret
- Ra : Raichu, Lapras
During the event, the active duration of Incense and Lure Modules will be extended, and Pokémon associated with Hangul Day and the “Ga-na-da-ra” Korean alphabet sequence will appear as shown above.
The featured Pokémon appearing from Incense and Lure Modules are expected to have a significantly increased Shiny encounter rate (estimated at 1.6%), making this a good opportunity for Shiny Pokédex completion.
Collection Challenge
- Rewards : Unown (H), 5,000 XP, 5,000 Stardust
The Hangul Day Event will be held exclusively in South Korea.
During the event, trainers throughout South Korea can complete the Collection Challenge and encounter Unown H as a reward.
If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Unown.
Since Unown is one of the rarer Pokémon in the game, this is a good opportunity to add it to your Pokédex or keep it as a special memento of the event.
