The Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude Special Research is a paid Special Research available from the in-game shop or the Pokémon GO Web Store for $4.99 (or the equivalent price in your local currency). Completing it rewards Trainers with an encounter with 
Shiny Shaymin (Land Forme).
After purchasing the ticket and logging in during the event period, you’ll receive the Special Research. There is no time limit to complete it, but as a Masterwork Research, it is designed to take a significant amount of time.
The research consists of 7 stages, and true to its “Masterwork” name, completing every task requires considerable long-term dedication.
Rewards throughout the research include Shiny Shaymin (Land Forme), Candy for Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Shaymin, Rare Candy, Rare Candy XL, Rocket Radars, Lure Modules, Mossy Lure Modules, Glacial Lure Modules, Incense, XP, and Stardust.
Shiny Shaymin Availability
Shiny Shaymin (Land Forme) has only been available during the following events:
- February 24–25, 2024: GO Tour Global
- July 21–27, 2026: Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary Edition
During these events, Shiny Shaymin can be obtained as the reward from a paid event ticket. The encounter is awarded upon completing Stage 6 of the Masterwork Research: Glimmers Special Research.
Note: If you have already completed the Masterwork Research: Glimmers Special Research in the past, you will not be able to purchase the ticket again.
